Your Artwork → Acrylic Factory Files

Acrylic is transparent, so colour printed straight onto it reads as a washed-out tint. Factories print an opaque white plate underneath first — and that plate is a separate file most people never send. Upload artwork and get the full set: front, mirrored back, the white underbase choked 0.25 mm so it cannot halo, a die cutline, a keychain hole placed against the cut path, and a spec sheet.

The four plates an acrylic factory needs — front print, mirrored back, the opaque white ink underbase shown on a dark board because it is invisible on white, and the die cutline with a keychain hole

Example: a 70 mm die-cut character standee — front, mirrored back, white plate, cutline with a 4 mm hole kept 2 mm clear of the cut edge, and a spec PDF, packaged as one zip.

Front, mirrored back, an opaque white underbase choked 0.25 mm so it cannot halo, a die cutline with a keychain hole checked against the cut edge, and a spec sheet.

PNG with a transparent or plain background works best.

Nothing is charged until the files exist — a failed run costs nothing.

Why produce acrylic files through Curify?

  • The white underbase is generated for you — the plate customers do not know they need and cannot see, because it is white on white.
  • White is choked inward, not spread. Press registration is never exact, and un-choked white shows as a pale halo around every edge.
  • The keychain hole is computed against the cut path and refused when no legal position exists, instead of shipping a part that tears out.
  • Everything is deterministic geometry — no model guesses at a cutline or a dimension.

Frequently asked questions

What do I get?

A zip with front artwork, mirrored back, white-ink plate, cutline SVG including the hole, a preview and a spec sheet.

Why is the back mirrored?

On a double-sided acrylic piece the reverse prints through the material, so an un-mirrored back reads backwards once assembled.

What is the white ink layer for?

Acrylic is clear. Without an opaque white plate under the colour, the print looks washed out — so the factory either builds one or prints it wrong.

Can I choose where the hole goes?

Yes. There is a default near the top of the piece, and a position you specify is still checked against the minimum wall so it cannot crack.

Are these tooling drawings?

No. They are print and cut files. Confirm tolerances, material and thickness with your factory before production.

What are acrylic factory files?

They are the set of files an acrylic manufacturer needs to quote and produce a standee or keychain without a designer re-doing the artwork.

That set is larger than most people expect: front, back, a white underbase, a cutline and a hole position — five things, where most orders arrive with one flat image.

Missing any of them usually means the factory adds a design fee or produces something that does not match the intent.

How it works

Upload artwork with a clear subject; the subject is isolated and scaled to your stated physical size.

A die cutline is traced from the silhouette and offset outward by your chosen margin.

A white plate is derived from the same silhouette and eroded inward so it stays under the colour.

A keychain hole is placed near the top and validated against the cut path for a minimum wall.

Everything is packaged with a spec sheet listing size, thickness, print, choke and cut values.

Who it's for

Designers & studios

Hand a factory a complete acrylic package — white plate, cutline and hole included — instead of trading revisions over what is missing.

谷子 & merch operators

Turn character art into standees and keychains without learning pre-press, and quote the same day.

DTC & IP brands

Order acrylic merch at volume with files a manufacturer can price immediately.
